SCEWC, an opportunity for Smart City solutions

SCEWC, an opportunity for Smart City solutions

CitiSim project was presented in the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) on 19-21 November 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. SCEWC is the leading event for smart cities, the main objective of the congress is to show urban innovation around the world. There were companies like Deloitte, CISCO, Huawei or Microsoft, but also many cities and countries, like Singapur, Spain or Canada, show their smart city solution. Year by year this event becomes a reference regarding digital transformation, urban environment, mobility, governance, and finance.

This year Citisim had the opportunity to present the project in a stand with ITEA3 organization at Hall P2 Stand A2017. Along with some ITEA projects like SPEAR, BIMy or ESTABLISH, we spent three days having many presentations of the project to various municipalities, companies and other projects. A lot of people were very interested in it and we’re staying in touch for possible collaborations.

Our partners from Taiger, Altfactor, Beia, Prodevelop, and Abalia share CitiSim’s results and search the way to improve the project with new solutions.

During the congress, ITEA 3 held an event where CitiSim got the opportunity to share the knowledge developed in CitiSim. On November 21, Our partner Carlos Jimenez from Abalia presented in an interactive Smart City innovation side event how our project can create a better future for citizens. This event was dedicated to dreams, challenges and the latest developments for new services. Also in this side event, Ismael Torres promoted the ESTABLISH project, which we already collaborate with.

On November 18th, a day early the congress started, the Citisim project was disseminated in the International Smart City Business Forum 2019. The purpose of this Forum was to provide government, city representatives, start-ups, SME’s, corporates, experts and investors with a platform to initiate long-term partnerships. It was a great opportunity to present the project.
