Citisim participated in Smart Cities of Romania Conference
BEIA Consult International participated in Smart Cities of Romania 2019 Conference on 23 October in Bucharest, Romania. This event is the most important and large expo-conference in Romania, dedicated to solutions for smart cities.
The purpose of this conference is to raise awareness about Smart Cities. The rapid urbanization of cities presents infrastructure challenges for the government and municipalities. As cities grow and expand their services, administration and governance become more and more complex. Thus, city transformation is a necessary requirement in order to address social, economic, engineering and environmental challenges.
During this event, there were discussed subjects like the development of cities, digitization of communities through research and innovation and also, mobility. For the networking part, the CitiSim project was presented.
